Design Yard 32 works with pharmacy owners across Australia, including pharmacies in Penguin and the north-west Tasmanian coast. We specialise in pharmacy fitout design and documentation - from the initial concept and 3D visualisation through to builder's documentation and tender drawings.
Pharmacies in Penguin
Penguin is a small coastal town on Tasmania's north-west coast, situated between Ulverstone and Burnie approximately 25 kilometres west of Devonport. The town is best known for its Little Penguin colony and distinctive penguin-themed public sculptures, making it a popular stop on the Bass Highway coastal tourist trail. Penguin serves as a community hub for the surrounding residential and farming areas in the Penguin-Preservation Bay corridor. Retail and health services for Penguin residents are primarily accessed from nearby Ulverstone and Burnie, with Mersey Community Hospital in Devonport and North West Regional Hospital in Burnie both within a 30-minute drive. Surrounding communities including Preservation Bay, Heybridge, Sulphur Creek, and Aberdour fall within the Penguin retail catchment.
Tasmanian pharmacies come in every configuration, and we design for all of them - dispensaries, retail layouts, compounding facilities, sterile compounding, medicinal cannabis pharmacies, methadone clinics, and consulting rooms - with documentation prepared for approvals and builder pricing. Full details and areas of expertise are on our Pharmacy Design page.
