Real Homes, Thoughtful Design, Personal Process

Our interior design service is often part of a home extension or a full interior makeover - especially when you want to keep the existing house structure but remodel the layout to suit your evolving lifestyle.

Sometimes it’s a whole-home transformation. Other times, it’s about focusing on spaces that matter most - a kitchen that truly works, a bathroom sanctuary, a proper wine cellar, sauna or home theatre. Everyone has different priorities. Our role is to bring clarity, cohesion, and smart solutions to you.

Interior Spaces

Living rooms, dining areas, family zones, and outdoor spaces — these are the places we use every day. It’s where we gather, entertain, celebrate, and wind down. But making one room serve multiple functions isn’t always easy.

If you're unsure how to get more from a space — whether it's awkward proportions, poor natural light, or a layout that doesn’t flow — we can help. Sometimes it’s about shifting a wall. Other times it’s visual expansion through joinery, lighting, or materials. We don’t jump to solutions — we explore your needs first, and then reshape the space around them.

Kitchens, Butlers, Laundries & Mudrooms

We’ve helped many homeowners across Melbourne design kitchens that are functional, stylish and are built by trusted local cabinetmakers.

Today’s kitchen is rarely just one room - often it connects to a walk-in pantry, a butler’s kitchen, or outdoor cooking space. Our design process starts with a simple but revealing question: what does your typical cooking day look like? And how does that change when you're entertaining 10 people instead of two?

This helps us understand your workflow - how the kitchen connects to your dining, laundry, outdoor area and more. We think through the technical side too: ventilation, fire-rated materials, energy use, and compliance - so your kitchen not only looks beautiful but works safely and efficiently.

Bathrooms & Wellness Areas

Bathrooms today often include far more than a shower and vanity. We've designed spaces with saunas, steam rooms, underfloor heating, towel warmers, and integrated lighting - as well as compact bathrooms where every centimetre must be put to work.

With so many finishes and fittings available, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. We will help narrow down your choices - whether you prefer seamless stone-look surfaces, bold tile patterns, or timber textures.

Whether you're adding a new bathroom, converting an existing room, or giving your ensuite a full refresh, we always consider ergonomics and flow. You’ll receive full construction drawings with dimensions and specifications - and before any build starts, we’ll show you realistic visuals and walk-throughs so you can feel confident in the final outcome.

Retirement & Mobility Considerations

Over the years, we’ve worked on many projects that involve accessible design - and we believe this thinking should be part of every renovation.

There are small decisions we can make during early construction - such as adding structural support for future grab rails, or ensuring step-free showers and clearances - that can make a big difference down the line, without compromising the aesthetic.

Slip-resistant flooring and generous layouts aren't just useful for those with mobility needs - they can make any home feel more spacious, safer, and easier to live in. Depending on your renovation scope, we can also advise when accessible entries or sanitary areas are required to meet regulations.

Accessibility, when designed well, doesn’t stand out - it just feels good to live with.

Not sure where to begin?

We’re happy to talk through your ideas on a quick call or via email. Feel free to send us some inspirational images, real estate plans or even rough sketches.

Colour & Materials

Colour and materials say a lot about who we are. You may seek soft neutrals and natural textures to unwind after busy days. Someone else loves bold hues or deep contrasts that bring energy to the space. We’re not here to dictate - we’re here to help you discover how your colour palette supports the feeling you want to create in your home.

We also think practically: how will this colour look in morning vs. evening light? How does your indoor palette connect to the outdoor space seen through full-height glazing? Interior and exterior finishes can no longer be separate - they must work together.

We always make our final colour selections on site and under different lighting conditions. Regardless of what others may promise digitally, real-life testing still matters most.
